Aside from her superb play on the basketball court, Dodd is also an accomplished equestrian athlete, representing Australia at the 2012 Paralympics as a Grade IV, finishing as the top-ranked Australian competitor in her event and class.
After the London Paralympics, Dodd took up wheelchair basketball, preferring the adrenaline kick the sport provided her and the team comradery. She started playing for the Sydney University Flames in the WNWBL before making her debut with the national team at the Osaka Friendship Games in February 2015.
She won bronze at that tournament and won a silver medal with the Under-25 team in Beijing in 2015 before competing for the Gliders at the 2018 World Championships in Hamburg.
Off the court, she is a public speaker for Wheelchair Sports NSW.
