We are entering the business end of the tournament with the Under-20 men and Ivor Burge men heading into quarter-finals today.
Both competitions still have a couple of games to conclude the group stage in the morning but Victoria have already booked their spot as they aim to defend last year's Championship.
They sit atop Group A with a 4-0 record while second placed NSW (2-1) and third placed South Australia (1-2) meet this morning in an important clash.
NSW's first loss came on Day 3 in a low-scoring but thrilling battle against Victoria as late free-throws from Josh Bannan (14 points, 14 rebounds) secured a 62-61 victory.
WA will be aiming to also advance to the quarter-finals undefeated in Pool B. They will be tested against the NBA Global Academy this morning but Queensland got the better of the Global Academy on Day 3 to keep their finals chances alive.
Victoria and South Australia are setting the pace for the Ivor Burge men, leading their respective groups with 3-0 records while Japan are also flexing their muscle in Group A behind the competition's leading scorer Namio Yanagisawa (35.7 points per game).
Victoria's Under-20 women are maintaining the state's strong form to sit on top of their ladder as well while they prepare for an intriguing match-up against Victoria A this morning.
If Victoria A can cause an upset, the likes of New South Wales will be looking to swoop as they are only placed one game behind Victoria. South Australia and Western Australia, both sitting at 2-1 also clash today in an important contest.
The Ivor Burge women's race to the finals remains too close to call, with Victoria's 2-0 record only just better than NSW Country, ACT and NSW Metro who are all placed at 2-1.
Today marks a crucial day in terms of those placings though, with Victoria to play a double-header against Western Australia and ACT where the scoreboard battle between Kaitlin Zonneveld and Cassandra Ivory will be one to watch.
