A paraplegic as a result of a car crash, Clare Nott was named the WNWBL's Best New Talent in 2005. She was the league's MVP in the 1-point class in 2013 and 2015 and a member of its All Star Five in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015.
Making her debut with the Gliders in a tournament in Canada in 2005, she has gone on to rack up close to 200 games for the national team.
Nott won gold medals at the 2009, 2010 and 2012 Osaka Cups in Japan, a bronze medal at the 2008 Paralympics and a silver medal at the 2012 London Paralympics. Continuing to star during the Gliders' leaner years, she was a part of the team that finished second at the 2017 AOZ qualifiers which saw herself and the team advance to the 2018 World Championships.
