Steven Elliott realised his dreams of representing the Australian Rollers at the 2018 World Championships in Hamburg, Germany, the result of many years of hard work and dedication to his craft.
Playing since he was 14 years old and representing his state in several Kevin Coombs Cup tournaments, Elliott put his name on the national radar as he showcased his strengths at the offensive end and on the boards.
In 2016, he played for his country at the Kitakyushu Champions Cup in Japan and went on to represent the Australian Under-23 Spinners while also captaining the Queensland Rolling Thunder.
Elliott then made a late charge for the Rollers World Championship team in 2018, joining the side for a series of warm-up international games and he injected some youth and exciting play-making into the Rollers as a member of the mid-point group.
The Rollers went on to win Bronze at the World Championships as Elliot secured his first ever medal at a major tournament.
