Eddie Crouch officiated at more than 50 international games.

He officiated at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, the 1982 World Championships for Men, and the 1979, 1983, and 1986 Women’s World Championships.

In Australia he controlled matches in the NBL between 1979 and 2003, amassing a staggering 802 games. Crouch was named the NBL Referee of the Year an amazing thirteen times.

He was WNBL Commissioner for 21 years and has been President and Secretary of the Victorian Basketball Referees Association.

Other honours include the Prime Minister’s Sports Achievement Award and receiving the Order of Australia Medal for services to basketball.
