Bogut’s Bucks endured a horror month of January, winning just 2 of their 14 games, cementing them on the bottom of the Central Division of the Eastern Conference.
Milwaukee now owns an 18-and-30 regular season record that includes a 10-and-9 home record and an 8-and-21 away record, putting them eight wins behind their nearest rival, the Indiana Pacers.
The Bucks’ heavy injury toll has forced the Bogeyman into a mountain of extra minutes, to average 36.2 minutes per game throughout January.

In 42 minutes on court, Bogut netted 17 points, on 8-of-15 shooting, and pulled in a mammoth 18 rebounds that included 9 offensive boards. He also contributed 4 assists and 1 steal but committed 5 fouls and 5 turnovers.

The starting centre turned in one of the best performances of his NBA career, notching a massive 20 points (on 9-of-14 field shooting) and 24 rebounds (a new career high) double-double in 40 minutes on court. His 24 boards included 9 offensive rebounds, to go with 2 assists and 1 blocked shot.

Bogut posted his third consecutive double-double, shooting at an impressive 80% from the field to score 27 points on 12-of-15 shooting to go with 11 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in 38 minutes on court, before fouling out in the final quarter in the Buck’s first win in six games.

Bogut had a quiet night against the Bulls, tallying 6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot, but he restricted All-Star Ben Wallace to just 3 points and 10 rebounds. In 39 minutes on court, Bogut also committed 4 fouls and 5 turnovers.
