A small number of seats have become available for the Boomers clash against USA Basketball over a two-game series at Marvel Stadium on Thursday 22 August and Saturday 24 August 2019.
Since going on general sale in late August, over 90,000 tickets have been snapped up by fans in Australia and around the globe wanting to witness the must-see sporting event of 2019.
These highly anticipated games will be the first time the USA Basketball Men’s National Team has played in Australia since winning gold at the 2001 Goodwill Games in Brisbane, and will form part of their preparations for the 2019 FIBA World Cup that is being held in China, August 31 – September 15.
Basketball Australia Acting CEO, Paul Maley said: “There has been a high demand for tickets to these games from the day they went on sale and the hype surrounding the Boomers continues to grow.
“We cannot wait to welcome USA Basketball to Melbourne in August and showcase to the world games between these two basketball powerhouses.”
