Ryan Broekhoff and his Russian team, Lokomotiv Kuban, have advanced to the Euroleague Quarter-Finals as they search for their first Euroleague championship.
As the starting shooting guard for the side, Broekhoff is averaging 10.4 points to go along with 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and over a steal per game.
His shooting stroke has hardly deserted him all season, hitting 56% from the field and 43% from the three-point line while making over two three’s a game.
Advancing to the top 16 with an 8-2 record, Lokomotiv Kuban were the most productive offensive team in Group E.
Their 9-5 record was good enough to get them through to the top 8 where they will face off against FC Barcelona Lassa who went through Group F with an 8-6 record.
In two previous regular season meetings in 2015/16, the teams have split their games with four-point victories apiece.
Broekhoff will be looking for more efficient nights this week, having averaged 4.5 points on only 3-6 shooting across the two clashes with Barcelona.
