Basketball Australia is thrilled to announce the head coaches of the Australian Pearls and Boomerangs, the national teams for female and male athletes with an intellectual impairment, as they prepare to lead the teams at the 2019 INAS Global Games in Brisbane from October 9-20.


The Australian Boomerangs and Pearls have completed a successful tournament at the 2017 INAS World Basketball Championships for players with an intellectual disability, with all three teams coming home with medals.


The Australian Men’s Basketball team for players with an intellectual disability (Boomerangs) will return to Loano Italy for the 2017 INAS Basketball World Championships in November.
