About U18 & Kevin Coombs Cup

Basketball Australia prioritises the health and safety of the basketball community and in this current climate, we have determined the Australian Junior Championships scheduled for April will no longer be proceeding.

Dates

The 2020 Australian Under-18 Junior Championships & Kevin Coombs Cup will be held from April 17-24, 2020. The Kevin Coombs Cup will commence on Tuesday April 21.

 

Venue

The 2020 Australian Under-18 Championships and Kevin Coombs Cup will be hosted by Ballarat Basketball at the Ballarat Sports and Events Centre (BSEC).

The venue is located at 989 Norman Street, Wendouree VIC 3355.

 

Schedule & Draw

The draw for the 2020 Australian Under-18 Championships and Kevin Coombs Cup will be available shortly.

 

Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony for the 2020 Australian Under-18 Championships and Kevin Coombs Cup will take place at on Friday April 17 at the Ballarat Sports and Events Centre. The ceremony will commence at 10.00am.

 

Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony for the 2020 Australian Under-18 Championships and Kevin Coombs Cup will take place immediately following the Under-18 Men's Grand Final on Friday April 24 at the Ballarat Sports and Events Centre.

The official photographer of the Australian Junior Championships is Sport In Focus who will be onsite capturing all the moments of the championships.

 

 

Camera & Video Passes

With the protection and privacy of our participants in mind, anyone wanting to use a camera or take video is required to have a CAMERA/VIDEO PASS during the Championships. All cameras are required to be signed in at the front desk on arrival and agree to the Photography policy. Click here to view full policy. All video cameras are to be used the area provided in the stadiums for filming.  No flash photography is allowed and Basketball Australia requests no photography from the baseline.
