Amidst the uncertanties that COVID-19 has posed on our beloved basketball community, Basketball Australia wants to keep the hoop-ing spirit alive and to do so we have started the #HomeCourtChallenge.

Originating from a basketball fan Matt, who sent in a home video of a trick shot, Basketball Australia has adapted this into your newest favourite basketball trend!

Already proving a massive hit the Home court Challenge has been done by some of your favourite athletes already such as: Tim Coenraad (NBL's Illawara Hawks), Isaac Quaynor (AFL's Collingwood Football Club), Vaomua Laloifi (AFLW's Carton Football Club) and many more!

You can watch some of our favourites so far on our Instagram highlights #HCC at @basketballaus.

So, what is it...

Since we can't go to the courts at the moment bring basketball to your own house. Use a rubbish bin, or a cup or even a mini ring you have in your room and give us your BEST trick shot! Time to think creatively and get tricky with it and don't forget to capture it on camera!

Once you've got the shot...

Once you've got your video head onto Instagram and share to your story with the hashtag #HomeCourtChallenge, tag @basketballaus and 3 friends!

Lets keep fit and active, and lets keep our game spirit alive in these tough times. We can't wait to see what you come up with in your Home Court Challenge!

Basketball Australia places an emphasis on participant safety. While partaking in our challenge please ensure you take all steps to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
