The FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament tips off this Thursday, with the Opals’ schedule running through to the early hours of Monday the 14th of February AEDT.
Although having automatically qualified for the FIBA Women’s World Cup, the Opals will still compete in three games in Belgrade, Serbia to identify seedings for the World Cup fixture.
An experienced team, selectors have combined a mix of Olympians and FIBA Asia Cup bronze medallists to represent the Opals in Serbia and are also working two Opals debutants- Shyla Heal and Maddy Rocci- into the lineup after stellar WNBL performances.
