GETTING TO THE FIBA WOMEN’S BASKETBALL WORLD CUP

The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup will take place at Sydney Olympic Park. The Park is located 18km from Sydney airport and 14km from the CBD.

During the Group Phase, games will be played across both the Sydney SuperDome and Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. All Finals will be played at Sydney SuperDome.

All tickets to the World Cup include return travel on trains, metro, and light rail services, public transport is highly recommended. For travel on buses and ferries you’ll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment method.

Olympic Park Station (T7) is the closest station to both venues. Trains operate every 10 minutes between Lidcombe Station and Olympic Park Station. The journey from Central Station is approximately 30 minutes and 18 minutes from Parramatta Station.

It is a 5-minute walk from Olympic Park Station to Sydney SuperDome and 9 minutes to the State Sports Centre.

Please note, an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by event ticket travel entitlements.

For those needing to drive P3 and P4 are the closest car parks to Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. P1 is the closest car park to Sydney SuperDome. There are multiple mobility car parking spaces at each. Pre-booking parking is highly encouraged, and bookings can be made here.

A dedicated drop off point for Hire Cars is available outside the Northern Foyer Entry to Sydney Super Dome on Edwin Flack Avenue.
