Basketball Australia is proud to bring a two-day High Performance Coaches Conference in Canberra from 3-4 May, 2016.
The conference is designed for all current and aspiring High Performance Coaches, in particular those involved at State League Level and State Representative Level.
Coaches will be exposed to a diverse agenda including topics from athlete education through to personal technical development and will include a welcome from Patrick Hunt, President of the World Association of Basketball Coaches and Senior Consultant Performance Coaching and Leadership (WABC).
Hunt will also be a key presenter during the conference and will be available to answer questions from all in attendance.
Coaches will be encouraged to get involved, meet other like minded coaches and enjoy the learnings presented by several guest speakers.
‘Even Better Practice’ will focus on improving coaches technical knowledge and will assist coaches in understanding how athletes learn and develop, as well as challenge individuals on their own teaching styles.
A networking dinner will also be on offer creating the opportunity to spend time with peers and ask questions to those presenting at the conference.
