The Gems are U19 Women’s national representative team in 5v5 basketball, they represent Australia in FIBA events such as Oceania and World Championships.
The Gems have a rich history in such events with Australia claiming silver in their last 2 world cup outings and gold in 1993.
The Gems alumni include names such as Lauren Jackson (2007), Ezi Magbegor (2015 & 2017), Alana Smith (2015), Stephanie Talbot (2013), Bec Cole (2011) and Tess Madgen (2009)
