The Brisbane Bullets will take on the Melbourne Tigers at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Friday night in game one of the 2006/07 Philips National Basketball League (NBL) Grand Final series.
The Bullets head into the match on a league record 20 game winning streak while the Tigers are the defending NBL champions following their 3-nil series clean sweep of the Sydney Kings last year.
With Brisbane boasting the likes of Australia Post Boomers Sam Mackinnon and CJ Bruton and with the Tigers led by last years’ league MVP Chris Anstey and 445 game veteran Daryl McDonald, the best of five game series is expected to be one of the finest in NBL history.
