The INAS Global Games concluded in Brisbane on the weekend with brilliant results achieved by the Pearls and Boomerangs.
The Games had not previously been held in Australia, with this event allowing families and friends a wonderful opportunity to watch Australia’s National Teams compete against other nations at a major international event. The Pearls and Boomerangs results certainly did not disappoint. Pearl Gold took home a silver medal after a heartbreaking one-point loss to Japan in the gold medal game, while Pearl Green clinched the bronze medal against the highly-fancied French team. In the men’s side of the competition, the Boomerangs won the silver medal after falling to the highly experienced Portuguese side in the gold medal game. This is the highest ever finish for the Boomerangs in the tournament’s history. View full results
