Just Pass on Vaping

Basketball Australia has teamed up with the Australian Government to raise awareness about the harms of vaping and nicotine addiction.

Don’t be confused by the lingo – vapes, mods, tank systems, e-cigs and vape pens are all forms of e-cigarettes and today’s 14- to 24-year-olds are the first generation to be exposed to nicotine mainly through vaping instead of cigarettes.

Recognising the significant health risks associated with vaping, we’ve partnered with the Australian Government on the Youth Vaping Education Campaign to raise awareness of the impact of vaping among young people.

As part of our #JustPassOnVaping campaign, we had our top talent from across the country come together to share the facts on vaping and encourage others to pass on vaping.

We recently sat down with our top under-18 talent from around Australia and they told us how they really feel about vaping.

Keep an eye on our social channels for content featuring our talented basketball community and #JustPassOnVaping!
