The CoE women added two wins to the tally with impressive performances against the Canberra Nationals and Penrith Panthers.
Sitaya Fagan dropped 26 against the Nationals and backed it up with a 29-point masterclass against the Panthers. The versatile Victorian was awarded with the Anzac Day medal.
In the first fixture for the men, CoE drove an undefeated Canberra Gunners to the edge before burning out late in the 4th. Che Brogan led scoring vs the Gunners with 20, Luke Fennell had 16 & Jacob Furphy with 15.
In Game Two against the Panthers, Tasmanian Nash Walker lit it up from long range to win the Anzac Day medal for the men. Walker finished with 20 points, going 5 – 10 beyond the arc.

With Round Four in the books, the CoE women are 5th on the standings at 3 – 1.
The women lost their first match up against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles 65 – 80 and there's been a notable progression since. A 86 – 61 victory over Bankstown driven by guards Isabel Smith & Zara Russell in Round Two got the CoE going and a directive shift to Fagan as the primary scoring option in the Canberra / Penrith double-header paid dividends.
The full court versatility of Fagan is reflected statistically. The Victorian currently leads the CoE women in scoring 21.50 PPG, blocks 1.75 BPG & steals 2.75 SPG. Guard Emilija Dakic is leading distribution with 4.50 APG and New South Wales product Jade Crook has been unreal at the boards with 10.50 rebounds per game.
CoE Men | Recap
The Coe Men are 3rd on the NBL1 East standings with a record of 3 – 1 with the only loss coming against 1st place Canberra.
In the two-game shotgun start that occurred before the national team break, the men recorded two convincing victories against Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (84-56) and Bankstown Bruins (65-102). They charged against Canberra on Friday night before the Gunners held for a 91 – 87 result. Nash Walker was given a license to shoot vs the Panthers and the CoE men fired for a 96 – 55 win yesterday.
Captain Jacob Furphy leads the CoE men in scoring & assists with 15.75 PPG / 4.25 AST. Marcus Vaughns leads rebounds with 5.67 RPG & Ladji Coulibaly has been impressive on defence with 2.50 Blocks (BPG).
