Nunawading Spectres dominate at Foot Locker U14 Club Champs.

The Foot Locker U14 Club Championships for 2022 were wrapped up on Friday with the gold and bronze medal games for both the Championship and Shield divisions.

The Nunawading Spectres came out on top, with the girls and boys teams both winning the gold in the Championship division.

The Spectres took on the Rockhampton Rockets for the boy’s gold medal match, winning by a convincing 37 points, 88-51.

Charlie Wilson put up a massive 25 points for the Spectres, while Andrew Watene top scored for Rockhampton with 22 points.

The Nunawading girls took a 19-point win over the Mackay Meteorettes, winning 56-37.

Emma Anderson was the top scorer for Nunawading with 13 points. While Mackay’s Maggie Thorburn notched up 13 points for her side.
