From representing the Australian University National Team at the World University Games in 2011, to debuting for the Boomers in 2014 and still representing his country in 2022, Brandt has added multiple achievement to his resume.
He played college basketball in the US for four years representing Oregon State University from 2009-14. After graduation he immediately started his professional career with the Sydney Kings in the NBL, going on to win the Rookie of the year award.
After two seasons with the King’s, he signed with Perth Wildcats in 2016 and continued to play for them until 2019, during which, he won two NBL Championships.
Brandt’s professional career wasn’t geographically limited to Australia, he in leagues within Lithuania, China, Italy and is currently playing for the Kagawa Five Arrows in the Japanese B.League.
He was a member of the Gold medal winning squad of 2018 CWG and 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.
