The latest NBA draft pick from Australia made his Boomers debut in Q4 of FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
Travers has represented the country before in 2018 at U17 FIBA World Cup and 2017 U16 FIBA Asia Championships, where they won Gold and he made an impact with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals on the night of the finals.
In 2018, he helped WA win the U18 National Championship which ended 17-year draught.
Deciding to forgo college basketball in the US, he decided to begin his professional with his home state team, signing with the Peth Wildcats in the NBL.
In 2022, he was picked 56th by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft.
