Making his debut for the Boomers in Q4 of FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, Hawke has been a representative of Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence since 2021.
Having performed at the program’s state league teams competitions, Hawke caught the attention of the National selectors.
His consistent performance at U20 Australian Championship for Queensland was an added advantage to making a strong case for Boomers selection.
Even before starting university, he had proved to be one of Australia’s strongest young prospects.
