The South Australian export graduated from the AIS in 2006 before beginning his professional career in the NBL, winning a championship with the South Dragons in 2009.
Ingles has played and been successful throughout Europe and earned his first NBA opportunity with Utah Jazz in 2014 where he would play for eight seasons and make franchise history as all-time leader in three pointers made.
After finishing runner-up in Sixth Man of the Year the previous season, Ingles ruptured his ACL in January 2022 before making his comeback to the court with Milwaukee Bucks at age 35 making him the oldest Australian to hit an NBA court. Ingles spent a season with the Orlando Magic and recently signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves in July 2024.
Ingles alongside Patty Mills was influential figure in the Boomers historic bronze-medal win in Tokyo and will feature in a historic 5th Olympic Games campaign in Paris.

There is already one World Cup gold medal in the Ingles house. Ingles’ wife Australian netball champion Renae Ingles was part of the Diamonds 2015 World Cup gold medal campaign where the Aussies triumphed on home soil.
