– Assistant coach at 2 Olympic Games – 1996 (bronze), 2000 (silver)
– Represented Australia in 4 World Championships – 1975, 1979, 1983, 1986.
– U14 Girls Fair Play Award named in Cheesman’s honour in 2004 as recognition of her outstanding contribution to the game.
