Biography

Georgia Amoore is one of the biggest and brightest young stars in Australian basketball.

The point guard from Ballarat carved out a brilliant with Virginia Tech, influential in helping her team claim the ACC tournament title in 2023 and regular season title in in 2024, before transferring to Kentucky for her fifth and final year.

A three-point specialist with a high basketball IQ, Amoore was selected in the Opals squad for the first time in March 2024.

She will nominate for the WNBA draft in 2025.

Did You Know?

Amoore is the niece of late St Kilda Football Club great Danny Frawley.
