Based in Strathalbyn, South Australia, Alex discovered his love for wheelchair basketball when he found a local club that nurtured his interest.

Competing in leagues like the Hot Wheels Social League and Spinners, Alex has earned significant achievements, including becoming a 2024 KCC champion and competing in three KCCs and the Frank Ponta Cup.

His family has always been supportive, encouraging him in every sport he wanted to try. Inspired by Dylan Alcott, who shares a similar disability, Alex admires Dylan’s approach to life and aims to follow a similar path of success.

Alex’s describes himself as a vigorous trainer, with multiple oncourt sessions throughout the week, ensuring he remains fit and competitive at the highest level as he aims towards being selected for an international campaign with the U23 Australian Spinners.

Playing Style:

Alex describes his style as someone who plays strong on-ball defence, sets picks, and focuses on making easy baskets, with shooting as a secondary option.
