SCHOOL CHAMPS WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Congratulations to all the players who competed at the 2022 Footlocker Australian School Championships (ASC) on the Gold Coast. Over 1700 players, 78 schools, 18 divisions and 88 referees descended on the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre where incredible skills were on display and the future stars of tomorrow competed for school glory!
The Championships have grown to be one of Australia’s largest school sporting events and it is projected to be even bigger next year. These Championships only happen with the world class facilities at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre and the Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium which have the capacity to hold an event of this size.
Thanks to our partners Footlocker, Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and Major Events Gold Coast (MEGC) who give these Championships such an incredible level of support.
Congratulations to Basketball Australia’s Competition Manager Sarah Monck and her team who delivered a seamless event together with the referees, venue managers, coaches and officials.
The Footlocker Australian School Championships will be back on the Gold Coast in 2023, see you all next year!!!
