Nicholas and Cole headline in the second week of the competition.
ROUND 1 SEABL MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Donte Nicholas – Albury-Wodonga Bandits
The Bandits are off to a flyer this season, with import Donte Nicholas a key reason behind their undefeated start to the 2015 season.
Nicholas is the Round 2 Player of the Week after a dominant performance against Bendigo, finishing with 29 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and an amazing eight steals. Nicholas also shot the ball at 58 per cent from the field.
He backed up his efforts on the Saturday night against Nunawading, where he had a game-high 22 points (7-9 from the field), eight rebounds, two assists and a block in their five-point road win.
Nicholas is currently the second leading scorer in the competition averaging 23.3 points per game at the impressive clip of 65.7 per cent from the field. He also leads the league in steals after recording eight against the Braves.

– Kilsyth Cobras’ guard Kyle Adnam was on fire against Frankston Blues on Sunday scoring 27 points and adding five rebounds, five assists and two steals.
– Bandits teammate Cory Dixon also produced some big numbers for Albury-Wodonga on the weekend, averaging 20 points and 14 rebounds in their two wins in Round 2.
– Canberra Gunners’ centre Ben Allen had a dominant weekend with 14 points and 18 rebounds against Mt Gambier then added 19 points and seven rebounds in his club’s win over Dandenong on Saturday night.
ROUND 2 SEABL WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Rebecca Cole – Nunawading Spectres
After a breakout WNBL season with the Melbourne Boomers, and a top-five SEABL MVP finish in 2014, Rebecca Cole has picked up where she left off with 37 points in Nunawading’s win over Albury-Wodonga.
In Cole’s Player of the Week performance, she scored 61 per cent of the Spectres’ score, shooting just under 50 per cent from the field.
She also managed to accumulate nine rebounds, three assists and three steals, while getting to the free throw line on 14 occasions throughout the game.
Cole received Player of the Week honours twice in 2014.

– New Hobart Lady Chargers import Amy Kame made a splash in her WNBL debut with 33 points and 12 rebounds in all 40 minutes of her club’s win over Geelong on Friday night.
– Kilsyth import Cassandra Sant had a consistent weekend averaging 20 points and 11.5 rebounds in their two wins.
– Dandenong Rangers’ guard Amelia Todhunter scorched Canberra Capitals Academy on Saturday night with 28 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and four steals.
– Brisbane’ duo Odette Andrew (28 points) and Sarah Graham (24 points) sparked there club to a win over Ballarat.
