One of international basketball’s leading basketball minds Kevin Eastman will headline a series of basketball coaching clinics across three states in the coming weeks.
Eastman is one of the most respected clinicians in world basketball and will be the keynote presenter at clinics in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in what is a busy week of coach development commencing Thursday, April 27.
A 37-year coaching veteran at both the collegiate and professional level, Eastman was an assistant coach to Doc Rivers when the Boston Celtics claimed the 2008 NBA Championship and most recently joined Rivers as the lead assistant with the Los Angeles Clippers before retiring last year.
Regarded as one of the leading teachers of the game in word basketball, Eastman will share a wealth of player development knowledge with coaches in the three clinics, which are open to coaches of all levels.

The Eastman clinics in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney will be the perfect lead into the second Basketball Australia Coaches Conference, which will be held at the BA Centre of Excellence in Canberra from May 2-3.
Headlining the BA Coaches Conference are former NBL Coach of the Year Rob Beveridge, respected Newington College and NSW All-schools mentor Rex Nottage and leading coach education and leadership expert Donna O’Connor.
The two-day Conference will include on-court demonstrations, presentations on leadership, skill acquisition and technology and will commence with a keynote address from Patrick Hunt, president of FIBA’s World Association of Basketball Coaches.
